Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting is lighting powered by a battery pack that automatically lights up when the building looses power. Emergency lighting is standard in all commercial and high occupancy residential buildings, they should be tested regularly. Non maintained fittings are not designed to be used normally but should mains lighting power fail it automatically turns on. Maintained fittings are designed to be used normally and should mains lighting power fail the lights continue to function.
