Circuit Protection

We stock a comprehensive range of domestic and commerical circuit protection, this features MCBs, RCBOs, RCD's and a range 17th edition Consumer Units, distribution boards, garage and shower units and enclosures. Consumer units have different methods of protecting circuits. Our dual split-load consumer unit can be arranged for example the first RCD to upstairs and the second to the downstairs. By alternating the circuits like this, power will always be present on one floor if either RCD trips out. New UK homes will require this under the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and another way to protect this circuits under the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations is by fitting Residual Current Circuit Breaker With Overload (RCBOs) to every circuit. All our consumer units and boards use a DIN-rail to mount the breakers.
